Legislators from Europe and the US meet to discuss technology, security and trade
European and the US legislators met in San Francisco this summer. Technology, security and trade were dominating the agenda of the 92nd Transatlantic Legislators’ Dialogue.

Members of the European Parliament and the US Congress met in San Francisco on 24–26 August for the 92nd interparliamentary meeting of the Transatlantic Legislators’ Dialogue.
Building on their June discussions in Nicosia, legislators exchanged views on artificial intelligence and the tech industry, transatlantic cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, defence and transatlantic security, as well as agriculture and trade. The programme also included a visit to the Italian Innovation and Culture Hub.
Legislators agreed on a joint statement.
